Con la intención de fusionar dos conceptos influyentes en mi vida, nace la idea de tejer sonidos electrónicos con instrumentos puramente mapuches, una propuesta que pretende concebir la música como un medio para extender su milenaria cultura.
Así es como nace 'Purun', nombre que reciben las danzas o bailes tradicionales de origen mapuche. Este álbum es un grito de resistencia, por la protección de la Tierra y por la libertad de los pueblos originarios del mundo.

Technology To Be Free - Purun

With the intention of fusing two influential concepts in my life, the idea of weaving electronic sounds with purely Mapuche instruments was born, a proposal that aims to conceive music as a means to extend its millenary culture.
This is how 'Purun' is born, name that received the dances or traditional dances of Mapuche origin. This album is a shout of resistance, the protection of the land and the freedom of the original peoples of the world.

Finalmente, agradecer a los ingenieros en sonido Juan Francisco Monsalve y Joaquín Salas por la elaboración de su proyecto de tesis que fue generar una colección de samples de instrumentos mapuche, bajo licencia Creative Commons, la cuál fue utilizada en este álbum. Importante es destacar que todos los instrumentos han sido ejecutados por Ramiro Reilef, mapuche de tradición musical familiar.
